The Panama Canal

It's hard to believe that we live here. How many of you remember learning something or other about the Panama Canal in school. Did you really pay attention to what was being taught? Well, coming here has made us want to learn about this fascinating land sight. It was only a decade ago that the USA gave over complete rights of the canal to Panama. Our home is just blocks away from the canal so every day, all day we see ships of all sizes passing through it.
